Kiera is a 6-year Senior at Denver School of the Arts. She is currently portraying the Player Queen in The Rest is Silence: An Immersive Hamlet  and is directing The Treatment by Eve Ensler. She recently finished being on the production team of Spring Awakening.

Kiera has done dramaturgical work for her schools productions of Hairspray and Spring Awakening, which was chosen as one of 5 shows to perform on the mainstage at the International Thespian Festival. Recent acting credits include The Good Father (Jane), Play it Again, Sam (Linda), and The Country Wife (Dainty Fidget)

 

At DSA, she has studied the methods of Stanislavski, Uta Hagen, and Grotowski. She has also taken weekly movement classes, studied improv, dialects, clowning, design, and others, and worked on scenes by playwrights such as Shakespeare, Tenessee Williams, Arthur Miller, and Sarah Ruhl.

 

Outside of theatre, Kiera is an avid writer, and was awarded the title of semi-finalist in the Denver Center's high school playwrighting competition for her one act, Empty Space. Currently she is working on a second full-length play that is not yet titled.  She also enjoys reading, drinking coffee, and listening to movie soundtracks.
